Jamaica is known for its world-famous Blue Mountain Coffee. It is a popular beverage here, many persons needing their "cup of boiling coffee in the morning." Coffee is used to fight fatigue. Resin from shells of green seeds is placed on a piece of cloth and applied to the soles and foreheads of infants suffering with fever. For a long-lasting contraceptive, said to work for up to 1 year, boil a handful of freshly picked green coffee beans in 3 cups of water for 10 minutes, drink throughout the day for 3 consecutive days - to be effective, the treatment should begin immediately following childbirth.
Benefits:
A hot cup of coffee is stimulating and can give relief from several ailments. Additionally, it can increase the flow of urine and help with gum problems. Coffee contains caffeine which is said to be addictive.
